Tuesday: Activity 2.1 in SpringBoard (not the Embedded Assessment question).
Wednesday - Thursday: Activity 2.3 in SpringBoard.
If you were absent both days:
Complete the assignment on p. 94 for 8 items from the list.
Write:
o the item you chose
o what it represents / means / symbolizes
o some form of illustration for the item.
You must pick at least TWO from each of the three categories (that’s only six, and you need 8 total).
If you were absent the second day (1/5):
Complete the assignment on p. 94 for 4 items from the list.
Write:

You must pick at least ONE from each of the three categories (that’s only three, and you need 4 total).
Friday: I'll need to check your vocabulary composition book when you get back. Also: Activity 2.5. Identify the archetypal characters in the story (the Creative Person, the Object of His Affection, and the Being Who Grants His Wish). Then answer the Quickwrite on p. 98.
