Here's how to set up notes cards (from Thursday 11/10).
Front (lined side)
Top left: Internal Citation
- Author’s last name and page number
- Author’s last name (if no page number)
- “Title of Article” (if no author)
Top right (optional): Organizational Tool
- Fact
- Quote
- Subject
- Statistic
- Topic
- Argument
- Section
- Etc.
Body: One item per card
- If quoted, be sure to add quotation marks
- Be careful – don’t plagiarize!
Back
Top right: Full heading
- Name
- Date
- Class period
- Team letter
Body: Topic of paper
