I'm not going dark today, but...
... I do feel the need to comment, even if not that many people will see it.
From everything I have read about them, both SOPA and PIPA sound like terrible ideas. If you're not familiar with either one, check out this site. Piracy may be a problem, but SOPA / PIPA are like trying to perform surgery with a claymore. The landmine kind. Since others have said more about the topic than I could, I'll simply link to Adam WarRock's newest song. Warning, however, his language is rather stronger than the title of this post.
