The vote wasn’t nearly as close as I’d thought just by stacking them together. Blue for Guys and White for Gals won by a pretty healthy majority. Next, however, I need to find out if there are any girls who were planning to use robes of previous graduates. If there are a significant number of them, we’ll probably stick with the usual. If there are only a couple, or none at all, I’m sure we can make arrangements. I’ll go into more detail on Monday, but I said I’d put up the vote results today so here they are.
Feel free to e-mail me if you want, though I may not get back to you right away:

J.C. Hutchins – 7th Son: Descent
Friday, November 13th, 2009I’ve mentioned the book in class a few times now, and the previous blog post about it got deleted in the Great Deletion of the Blog (stupid FrontPage…) so I figured I’d post something again.
7th Son: Descent is a sci-fi thriller novel about a group of 7 clones who have to hunt down their original, nicknamed Alpha. Although the 7 men are clones, they all have very different lives, and each of their specialties is needed to stop Alpha before he can wreak any more havoc than he already has. It’s a non-stop rollercoaster ride that begins with the death of the president. I truly enjoyed the original, podcast version of the story, and I’m very much looking forward to delving into the new print edition which has new scenes and some other changes as well. This novel is the first of a trilogy and needs to sell well in order to justify printing the other two. So far it looks good, but it’s hard to say for sure. I plan to have a full review once I’ve finished the book, but for now you can go here for more info:
